The purpose of Golden North Archery Association:
Foster, expand and perpetuate the practice of archery and the spirit of good fellowship among all archers.
Conduct a continuous education program designed to acquaint the public with the bow and its uses as a practical and humane hunting tool, suitable for hunting of all legal game animals, birds and fish. Inform the public of the tournament aspects of archery and the use of the bow in competitive shooting. To hold various types of archery contests.
